At one time this property was a nursery focused on native vegetation.

Fall is in the Air and on the Calendar. . .

The days are still sunny but the nights are cooling off, reminding us that winter is around the corner.  The garden harvest is in and the home improvement projects are slowly winding down.  Here's a few more pictures to give you an idea of what's been happening lately at this gardener's paradise. . .

Enjoying the End of Summer

Eating fresh out of the garden!
School is back in session and the summer is slowly coming to an end, but this part of September* is especially beautiful in our neck of the woods. The garden harvest is in full swing with lots of cucumbers and tomatoes ready for canning.
The apples, pears and grapes are just beginning to ripen - they'll only get sweeter as the weather cools off and fall arrives later in the month.

One of the upstairs bedrooms, newly painted and ready to make your own.
When we need a break from working, there's nothing quite like the beautiful beaches along the Wild & Scenic section of the Middle Fork of the Clearwater River, located within easy driving distance of the house.
The water is cool and clean, the air refreshing and the view is perfectly wild.

*This post was originally written in early September but with harvesting the gardens and upgrading the house the time just slipped away. . .
